Are you wondering what the Year of the Ox will bring for you? I was born in the year of the Dog, 1982. How about you? What year were you born? Check out your horoscope here: Chinese Horoscope by Yahoo!
Ha, ha....year of the Snake and most items are accurate, except for monetary ones ; (
In a previous post you mentioned world job less etc. Many years ago a few friends and I talked about the usa really also turning into a 3rd world type country, as many, many jobs were being outsourced and or business's moving out of the country.
And here we are.
Our age group has never seen life so bad and scary, since the depression of the 30s (although we aren't quite that old) it's hitting hard and everyone has a chance of losing their jobs, home, etc. ; (
More to come it looks like, all around the world ; (
You know how there are lists floating around of these awesome inventions by Filipinos and some of them turn out to be hoaxes? This invention, a jeepney coin sorter, I wish was real. Unfortunately it doesn't exist. Challenge accepted... anyone? __________________________________________________________ One of my machine design projects when I was still taking up my Mechanical Engineering was a coin sorter and wrapper, made even more challenging by the professor's requirement that it should have a single input action, say a rotating motion. We never finished it and had to change projects halfway through. But remembering it got me thinking... I wonder how much interest there would there be for a jeepney coin sorter?

This battle is now over. Soon the rains will completely take over: the skies will be dark for most of the day, the stars at night hidden by the dark clouds. "You don't know me, but I know you, see, you're my favorite star..." I miss the summer, when the sun is out and up. I miss the beach at summertime, when the sand and the water is warm and the nights a cool respite. I miss having ice cream and halo-halo to cool off. I miss not needing to bring an umbrella every time I leave the ...
I have edited this post (7/11/09) because I'm happy to announce that I have finally (FINALLY! yes..) completed my noms for this year's uber awesome, uber prestigious top emerging influential blogs. I started out with just two nominations, and begged my readers to send me links to their favorite newbie blogs (and this explains why most comments here are suggestions!) and in the process, I have made several new blogger friends (and some jedi masters), improved my readership (to a staggering 30 visits per day! lol..), and most importantly, connected with people who share a true passion for blogging. Without further ado, here is my uber awesome and eccentric list: http://www.adaphobic.com/ http://tunaynalalake.blogspot.com/ http://ka-blogs-tugan.blogspot.com/ http://videochops.com/ http://www.pataygutom.com/ http://writingtoexhale.com/ http://zorlone.blogspot.com/ http://goodtimesmanila.com/ http://www.millionaireacts.com/ http://thestrugglingblogger.168center.com WOOT!
