The Cure for Pink Eye

Have you ever had Pink Eye?

Overheard:

"Oh! You know what, a friend of mine from work recently gave birth. She was worried her baby was not drinking enough milk from her breast. She said her breasts always felt full like they were about to burst, and the veins on the sides were showing like those on an angry person's neck..."

"Her mother, being ever helpful like all mothers are, you know, decided to offer the milk to a neighbor whose 9-year-old son had the pink eye! Apparently, it was common knowledge among the older Filipino folks that a mother's milk can cure pink eye."

"Unfortunately for my friend, her mother insisted the cure would not work if the milk did not come directly from her breast and into the boy's eye!"
