Hello everyone and welcome to the August 2010 edition of my Online Earnings Update. If it is your first time reading this, here's a quick background...
For 2010, I've decided to blog about my monthly online earnings via my Twitter account, and my Personal Blog. I'm posting around twice a week about things I usually blog about, receiving around 100 to 150 unique hits per day, and am only spending at most 1 to 2 hours daily writing and promoting my blog because of my busy work schedule. Also, Since these are personal accounts, I have been quite discriminating in my choices of what to "promote". If you are in the same situation, I invite you to share what you know and how your efforts have been fruitful. If you are a newbie like me, then read on and join me on this journey!

| 2010 Earnings per Service |
Google Adsense - $11.65 - More traffic means more Google Adsense earnings. That's generally the case, although, certain keywords actually bring more than others. Ad placement and format are also equally important. I'm about 2 months shy of getting my first paycheck from Google and I'm really excited about it. Haha. Woot!
Nuffnang.com.ph - Php 8.70 (Php 417.18) - Nuffnang has made be Glitteratti! woot! That means more opportunities to earn from ads. I've even received a Cost-Per-Click campaign from them.
Sponsored Tweets - $0.78 - is Sponsored Tweets a dying MMO service? What are your thoughts on this? Have to decide now whether to withdraw my accumulated earnings now or wait a few more months.
Chitika - $0.31 - This service is still being weird after changes in their system. I see the ad impressions are increasing but earnings are not. Now considering removing this service as well...
Summarizing - Monetizing
In summary, my online earnings for 2010 so far...
January 2010 = $9.62
February 2010 = $41.00
March 2010 = $15.97
April 2010 = $44.60
May 2010 = $20.43
June 2010 = $35.00
July 2010 = $10.35
August 2010 = $20.68
From January to August 2010, I have collected a total of $198.00 (roughly Php9,487.00 in 8 months). That's an average of about Php 1,180 per month in 2010. I've updated the above list to exclude my cents from Adgitize and I mentioned in my previous updates, I have let go of this service.
