For this month, I earned only about $7.34, mostly from Google Adsense. It seems I've unwittingly relaxed after I received my first $100 on Google Adsense! Wait.. you don't know what the heck I'm talking about? If it is your first time reading a post from this series, here's a quick background...
I've decided to blog about my monthly online earnings via my Twitter account, and my Personal Blog for the whole of 2010. I realize it is somewhat of a challenge to earn from a personal blog as opposed to a niche blog (i.e. entertainment, current events, movies, technology, gadgets, etc) - I'm posting only around once or twice a week about the things I would normally blog about, receiving less than 150 unique hits per day. And since these are personal accounts, I have been quite discriminating in my choices of what to "promote".
If you are a newbie like me, then read on and join me on this journey! If you are in the same situation - trying to earn through your personal blogs, I invite you to share what you know and how your efforts have been fruitful so far.
Break it down!
Google Adsense - $5.40 - As I mentioned, I've received my first ever $100 payout from Google a few weeks ago. And I have accumulated another 17.90 thus far. However, the low earnings this month is indicative of something more worrisome that just a bad month....
In a tragic twist of fate (lol, how dramatic), it seems I've lost my SEO juice or whatever it is called. Google doesn't bring me any more page hits save for a few key words. Numerous culprits come to mind - loading speed (my blog became slower when I shifted to Blogger templates), too many links, non SEO-optimized template, or simply my infrequent posting.
Whatever it is, the answer is apparent - more SEO optimization my friends. Argh!
Nuffnang.ph - Php56.88 or around $1.10 - The Php2,000 payout threshold for Nuffnang was reached this month enabling me to cash-out. They've sent me a check which I will hopefully receive in the next few days.
Chitika -$0.73 - Around $9.20 in a year is, well, lame, but what the heck. I've decided to just leave it there for at least another year or so. Hehe.

In summary, my online earnings for 2010 so far...
January 2010 = $9.62
February 2010 = $41.00
March 2010 = $15.97
April 2010 = $44.60
May 2010 = $20.43
June 2010 = $35.00
July 2010 = $10.91
August 2010 = $21.44
September 2010 = $26.71
October 2010 = $19.03
November = $7.34
From January to November 2010, I have collected a total of around $250.00 (roughly Php12,000.00 in 11 months). That's an average of about Php 1,100 per month in 2010. Hey, that covers one dinner weekend date with my girlfriend every month! :D

Things I learned from Earning Online
I found that November and December are really slow months for me blogging wise - I never seem to be able to find the time to blog anymore, much less earn anything from it. I know many others use the holidays to earn big from promoting gift items, but I'd spent all my time buying gifts I don't have time selling them. Hehe!In any case, I am obviously lost so I will turn it over to you to please give some tips and tricks on how to earn through blogging especially during the Holidays. :D
